Our Master Distiller Greig Stables honours the rich legacy of The Glen Grant by upholding the unique qualities of our whisky and following the methods that were established by our founders over a century ago. Today, Greig embodies the spirit of ‘The Major’ in bringing to life the inspired story of The Glen Grant.
OUR DISTILLERY TEAM
Master Distiller Greig Stables is joined by a dedicated team of over 30 individuals who each contribute to the production of The Glen Grant. Together, they combine tradition and innovation to create our range of evocative single malts which are crafted from barley to bottle entirely on the distillery grounds.
A Lasting Legacy
Our former Master Distiller, Dennis Malcolm OBE, imparted a lasting legacy on The Glen Grant. With a lifelong connection to The Glen Grant, his illustrious career spanned over six decades and at the time of his retirement in 2024, was one of the longest serving distillers in Scotland. His commitment, passion and devotion helped define The Glen Grant as an exceptional single malt revered around the world.
